Changing the cd player help!!

If i was to change the standard 2003 cup cd player to a aftermarket one, will the stations still display on the lcd screen where the clock and temp is displayed etc etc or will this totaly stop working, just something im wondering since im thinking of upgrading my speakers and cd player etc

Yep just time and temp.

You can get adaptors so that the stalk controls still work.

if you do you can get it to say renault,certain leads can still display station but its a lot of pennies!

Got an Alpine with a stalk adapter that simply displays time, temp and ALPINE

i had this a few weeks ago and ppl where saying it cost in excess of £70 for the 2 leads (stalk and display) its £35 from motor world just ask the guy and tel him ur priblem and he will tel you wot leads... u need to get a certain lead fro certain head units there all different so get the head unit then get the correct lead... i.e. sony head unit sony lead... hopt this helps
