Cheap car insurance

I need to renew my policy in a week and when I do I will have 4 years ncb. I got a quote from direct line which is just over £500. I'm 23 and drive a 172 cup. I think this is quite a cheap quote but I was wondering if anyone has found a insurance company that are really cheap but not very well known.

Can be very hit and miss, but if it's just price you are looking for, try the "Tesco Value" insurance, it's interweb only and can be found on http://www.tesco.com

Just tried tescos. They wanted nearly £700. I think I'll be hard pushed to find anyone cheaper than direct line's £500.

Yeah but they wont insure 172 cups. Just over 500 sounds really good to me for your age though.

Direct line were cheapest for me (23 on a cup but with some points) priviledge very close second by £1 more lol im payin 787 fully comp but as said got 9 points (thank you Kawasaki).

Did you try their "Value" insurance as well as their main product?
