cheap half decent graphics card

pci-e 16 card needed but im tight. its rocking a radeon xpress 200 at the moment built in.

cpu is athlon x2 64 5000

could buy mine in the for sale section? £70 delivered. BFG 8600 GTS 256mb OC HDCP and directx 10 enabled?

budget not sure lol but as little as possible i just sick of playing c&c at 640x480 with no detail lol

well if i'm honest most g cards are going to play it above 640x480. Although if your talking about tiberium war then FYI the one i'm selling will play it at max quality on 1900x1200.

However if thats a little out of your bracket i think the only model down from the 8600 is the 8500's which are about £50 @ overclockers..ATi can prob do some cheap ones too. According to tomshardware the Radeon 2600 pro is the best g card for aruond the £50 mark.

Just don't expct much from them if they're that cheap. if you want hd playback then you'll need HDCP (i know that you know this - just saying ). A good site for seeing how good they are in comparision to the models either side of them in the price range is tomshardware.

Best budget card is probably either a AMD HD2600XT or a 8600GT.
