cheap simple mods????

hello,
had my clio 182 cup for a year now,
still love it!!
very pleased i bought it now, but also very pleased i took out the life time warranty with it, lol

id like to make a few mods to it, nothing to major or expensive,

decided i definately want a carbon splitter,

does anyone have any other suggestions of cheapish mods i could make to it?

Sceptical on a lifetime warranty being offered on a used car tbh as surely would be too much hassle for the dealer?

I BOUGHT MY CAR 2ND HAND (OBVIOUSLY)
I PAID 500 QUID EXTRA FOR A LIFETIME WARRANTY,
THIS LASTS FOR AS LONG AS I OWN THE CAR,
ANY QUERIES PLEASE RING MARK CAMPBELL MOTORS IN BREASTON DERBYSHIRE,
IM SURE SOME1 THERE WILL BE HAPPY TO CLEAR UP ALL THIS CONFUSION FOR YOU GUYS

Have you had to have anything replaced under that warranty yet?

LOL no need to SHOUT about it!

...I doubt the warranty is even worth the paper it's written on TBH. Good luck if something does go wrong :)

Are you local to Breaston? I live near there.

Anyway as for cheap mods, there are a few carbon things you can get like bullets and diamonds that would go with the splitter. Is the car completely standard? If so, get some clear indicator bulbs as that cleans the front end up and only costs about £4 from ebay. Other than that you could get a set of lowering springs which would make a massive difference to the way the car looks.

Cant see it being financially viable for them to do...

If you got back to them in say 5 years with something you want replacing under warranty....id eat my own arm if they actually paid out for you.

Ive had plenty of work done under warranty,
picked it up yesterday after having both rear wheel bearings replaced and a new water pump.
also not long after i bought the car i had some sort of valve replaced, cant remember what it was called but apparently quite a common problem.

yes it is a very good garage, very friendly people and cant do enough to help, id recomend them to anyone as somewhere to get a 2nd hand car, however dont buy their new cars cos its a daihatsu garage,haha

ermm... ive already got an aftermarket exhaust , thats it.
im not bothered about performance mods,
i just wanted to change the appearance a little bit so its slightly different to all the others i see.

so not too far.

i was thinking about lowering it, and i definately want a carbon diamon,
where can you get these from?

believe it or not stu, i read the fine print before i parted with my 500quid,
and im happy to confirm that my lifetime warranty lasts until i part company with my car!!

if it was going to be revoked after 2 years then surely it would be known as a 2 year warranty, thanks for your concern though,

The only mod you need is to add a caps lock key to your keyboard.

Oh, and I'll bet if you start frigging about with your motor, that warranty will soon be void.

yes it was a good deal, to be honest when i bought the car and the warranty was offered, i didnt want it
but my dad suggested itd be a good idea so i went with it,

and ive probably already had over 500 quid out of it to be honest, so very glad i did!!

i used to work in sandiacre and a lot of people i worked with lived in stapleford.

I'd say silvervision bulbs, 3/4 front plate, Skoda Fabia spltter (if you don't have a cup spoiler fitted), Carbon/Colour coded dash strips, diamonds, bullets. All fairly cheap mods and shouldn't have any effect on your 'warranty'.

i really like the look of them

ktec one on ebay for 120 looks very nice!!
