Cheap Xenons

Hey Peeps just thought I would share the info. After my xenon bulb went the other week I didnt fancy paying the £160.00 renault where gonna charge me. So i did some hunting on 'tinternet and found a company that did a pair for £40.00. I was a bit sceptical at first but they seem as good as the OE ones.

I went for the 4300K which seem a little whiter than the standard ones, the web site is www.xenonshop.co.uk . I hope this is of some help in these hard up times.

I had a set on my old hybrid and they still worked with auto lights.
So cant see any reason why not.

my left xenon is not adjusting correctly since my car went into a field...

getting 2nd hand bonnett and bumper sprayed and fitted hopefully asap but my concern is my left hand (passenger side) xenon is not pointing as far as it used to... seems to be slightly loose inside the unit upon inspection so

while this is slightly off topic in this post instead of making a new one... just curious what renault charge for a replacement unit (entire thing) or whether this can be fixed (internal parts) for less price?

They are but they dim with time and use. Think the bulbs are generally rated for 1000 hours use or somthing like that.

he did have both sides but seems they just have drivers now

fixed! just been out and took it to bits. managed to get it working.

a little thumb down on the back and it clicked too.. this helped.. lol something popped out of place!

yeah the auto lights just control the switching of the headlamps, the bulbs are the final part of the circuit so they wouldnt interfere at all.
I put them on my girlfriends 182 and they are 4300k but they are very bright and work perfectly.
