My old man wants a new laptop, I bought one 3 months ago for £350, he has said If I give him my laptop, he will buy my an iPad 2, which is fair enough.

Do you guys seriously not use your laptop any more since getting an iPad?

I have a full desktop in my bedroom, but use my PC for browsing (thats all I do, browse meme sites and 9gag before I drop off), so I'm guessing I wont need it.

My mate lent me his iPad 1, and I cant believe how cumbersome a laptop is now lol!

If I had an iPad (occasionally hire one from work when I feel like it) I would never use my MBP. Unless I'm on call, which tbh. I could just use the laptop which is sits in the office.

You don't need to connect them to your laptop.

Can be set up on the iPad.
