  Shhh

Help on this please, found £11,200 for the cup and £11,700 for the Full Cup..

This was at Buymynewcar.co.uk

Anywhere else do it cheaper.?

  Shhh

I did see you reply, on it now fella...thanks..

Anyone been with these...so they do p/x then...if so ill be having myself a clio 182..at £700 full comp a year.. :)

A few on here have got theirs through them.
What price they doing them for now?
If you do order off them be prepared for the usual 12 week wait, no matter what they tell you.

Forgot to mention, Lloyds carselect seem about the cheapest for full uk car, not pre-reg either, but dont know about p/x.
Whoever you order from you will have about 12 weeks to sell your own, sure you could do better than p/x.

doh, beat me to it, but i have answered the p/x question

Erm, £10900 for the cup. Im after about £3600 for me clio...maybe more if i can get it. The remainder with a loan, not their finances as i prefer to own the car. The 12 week thing is good as im off away with work from middle jan to the beginning of march.

Ill see what happends with me p/x, as i would like to pay no more than £7k extra with me car.

Is it worth going for the cup, or pushing for the full cup. I know the cup pack on the full clio comes to over 12k..

  Shhh

Its getting better as it goes on, still gonna go see the dealer and inform him that i can get it cheaper elsewhere, and if he is prepared to match me. I like it that i can buy it from their, and maybe get the rough amout on a p/x in 5-6months if i change my mind..

Not sure what you mean by full cup.
Do you mean 182 with cup pack, i assume so.
General opinion on here seems to be 182 with cup suspension rather than 182 cup.
Dont know how much homework youve done but you lose an awful lot of equipment with the cup, for not much savings.
But at the end of the day its your choice, as its your money.
Which ever you go for im sure youll enjoy it.

What i was saying was whats the benefits of the Clio 182 Cup against the Full Fat Clio 182..(ie not Cup) with the cup spoiler and splitter...

What would you go for.?

With the cup packs on a 182 you will get the extra spoilers and all the suspension bits you get on a 182 cup. In other words the first 8 items in the cup list.
What would i go for?
I went for a 182, without cup packs, as i was couldnt wait any longer and went and bought an import, the cup wasnt out then.
Now you can get imports with cup packs, its just a matter of the wait time i.e. now for an import, 12 weeks approx for a uk car.
But you say the wait isnt a prob so no contest really.
As i say its your money, your choice.

182 with cup packs

there has been a fair few threads on this recently the concensus is why forgoe theluxurys for a 20kg weight saving and a 1 thenth of a second to 60 and no difference in real world driving

Gonna have a sit down and work out how much i have got to afford, and how much i owe out. Think im about £3k in debt between credit cards, overdraft etc. But in a stable well paid job, so its a case of sorting me life out, sell the bike, get rid of the car & credit cards. Then hopefully sorted..

0% credit card.

Thats how i funded the 3k shortfall i had when buying.

You could use 1 to reduce what you owe, if you havnt already.

  Shhh

Well, can get £3600 for the car. Got a £3k overdraft for which im in credit for, and getting paid a extra £1k bonus in jan. Bank said can have a £7.5k loan within 20 mins, usual natwest thingy, said prob get up too £20k if i applied. Thought about a BMW M4, then the repayments. I know im prob going to lose £5k on the clio in 3 years...i lost £3.4k on the clio in 2.5yrs..

Think i need to reduce me debts now before i go about increasing me insurance from £380 a year full comp too £800 full comp. 25 in april so then will come down, also 4 yrs ncb. Bike is harmless at £105 per year and just sits in the garage.

Im well clear on the credit cards, tho nice to get them reduced. Have a plan of waiting till end of jan, or near too. Pay the £1200 that i owe on the clio off to my nan (interest free loan), then look into chopping it in as the £200 a month is cleared. That gives me £8k over 4 years at £190 odd a month then not oweing more than i do out now each month. Only get £1300 a month after food, accomodation etc has been taken out of me wagers, and it dont go far round...(Bike, Car, Loan, Credit Cards, 250 mile per weekens, kids bike, F***ING CHRISTMAS - BAR HUMBUG or whatever it is)........

Why didnt i stick with me XR2i, im not better off money wise than i was 2 years ago, also i think i heard that the clio 36,000 mile service costs £360 also.....easy come, easy go.......

Thanks for listening.......
