Chipped windscreen.

Driving today i got a tiny chip (size of the end of a pen) in the left hand side of my windscreen, as im not fully comp i was thinking of this kit here

Anyone used this before or anything similar, Please no comments just syaing go to autoglass etc etc... Just interested to see if the off the shelf kits are effective for tiny cracks.

give it a go nothing to lose.well unless u funk it up really badly.
but why haven't you got fully comp.i thought it wasn't much more expensive.

nip into autoglass, auto windscreen, etc as they have the proper repair kits and will only cost the same as the kits.

I had a really nasty stone chip fixed free, by a windscreen repair company [Glass technogly iirc] working outside a Homebase.

I looked on autoglasses website and it was like £60!

Will have to look around a bit i think

Its times like this that fully comp insurance pays off!! Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the amount of advertisments on the Radio for Autoglass? Or maybe thats just the radio in Northern Ireland... they're ad's are really starting to get annoying now!

Theres quite often a litle tent thing outside my local supermarkets saying free windscreen repair today!
Have a look out for one of them, probably some sort of catch to them however.
