Pretty cool, although the 29xx series and above all have dual power supplies anyway. If you intelligently plan your power distribution in advance then this is overkill.
Simply dual homing your equipment's PSU's onto separate UPS' and setting your network up with redundant links between infrastructure devices will prevent any BC issues that may arise as a result of them losing power. At worst you might get a 30 second outage if you have STP implemented and your root bridge fail, but that's why PortFast exists.
