Civic Type R Vs Clio 172

I am thinking of Buying either :

Civic Type R 2003-2005

Or

Clio Sport 172/182 2003-2005

Anyone driven both?

Whats the reliability like on the Clio? Be truthful!

I have herd in terms of performance, they are well matched, but the clio handles better!

i'd agree with the bottom line, performance is pretty even. reliability on the clio varies i think, mine used to be a bit of a garage regular before i bought it but since i did, feb this yr, its not been toooooooo bad with only wear an tear items needing attention. other than a coil pack.

sorry to have to lock your thread, this question is like opening a can of worms on here, therefore i'm nipping it in the bud.

It is well worth doing a search as there are a lot of threads on these two cars.
