Cleaning a K&N help???

What kind of things can you use to clean a K&N ?? no money to buy a cleaning kit

I'd just wait Ryan till you can get a cleaning kit from Halfords, around a tenner they are. They don't need to be cleaned that often anyway.

dont use anythign but the k&n cleaning kit! you will f**k it up! dont use an air compressor or jet washer and only use the k&n oil to re-oil it after!

Back of K&N filter oil spray can says "spray on k&n cleaner (or any good detergent soap) and soke for ten minutes". But i would wait and get the K&N Cleaner myself.

Think i will w8 mine is very dirty so badly needs a clean lol

You can use autoglym engine and machine cleaner .But only use the genuine k+n oil to oil it .

Sure i read on a site that they dont need to be cleaned for 50k miles. Have a look yourself.

if u clean it u can use that 3 in 1 oil after as that is meant to be good for a k&n filter!
