Cleaning an Engine bay

MY engine bay isnt as bad as most but after 78k its pretty dirty, are there any easy ways to clean it?

This sounds silly but can i blast it with a jet wash? I take it its water proofed?

How about steam cleaned?

Steam clean it and cover all electrics and filters with a bin bag.

be VERY carefull with the electrics...all ill say is fookin french wiring

if you dont want to risk it, look in the yellow pages and you should find car cleaning companies that do engine bay cleaning. they know what they're doin, personally i wouldn't risk doin it myself, like Has said "fookin french wiring!"
