cleaning guide for an idiot !

i want to give my car a really good clean and have it come up sparkling,could somebody give me a quick guide on what to do and recomend a few cheap products.I aint got a clue about all this clay bar,pc mallarcy.Cheers

and dont forget some tyre shine!

i find the foaming stuff to work best so far, have yet to try the meguairs though.

ive got loads of the autoglym glass polish and dont use it, i just use super resin on the glass and it works fine. water just runs off the windscreen.

I didnt forget the Tyre Shine, I use Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber care on mine.

Super resin used to say on the bottle can be used on Glass, but dont use on the front screen? Does it still say that?

I use whatever wax I am using on the car on mine and seems to do the same.
