Cleaning inside xenons

I bought some 2nd hand black insert xenons and they're pretty filthy inside with remnants of an adjuster in there.
I was hoping to clean them up without having to completely split them as I've seen them not to back together as well again.
What's the best way to do this?
Strip all electrical parts and rinse with water/ use ipa?

I'm hoping to get them relatively mint before fitting. Is cracking them open Easy?

You can't remove the wiring from inside the headlamp. You would also have to dry it thoroughly but I think you would end up with water marks in them. You can split them but it's not easy as the back of the headlamp will bend before the sealer lets go. I'd try washing them out and drying them in the oven and see how they turn out. If you decide to split them 15 mins in the oven at 100° and some muscle will do it. Any more cooking and the back becomes too soft. The sealer never really melts so reheating and pushing it back together doesn't work. I removed the original sealer and filled with new stuff.
I have a pair that need splitting and I think I'm going to try cutting them apart this time.

Yea splitting them apart is a pain in the bum.

Are you thinking of just taking the bulbs out and pouring a load of IPA straight in?

I was going to use de-ionised water to avoid getting water spots inside then a small bit of ipa to get rid of any traces of water
