Cleaning LCD TV?

cleaning yesterday i polished the tv n gave it a wipe n it left a horrible like stain on the screen, managed to clean it up properly with a tiny bit of window cleaner n a lot of effort. just wondered what everyone else uses to clean their lcd tellys?

keyboard/screen cleaning wipes - bout £2 from pc world. no smears etc

i got a cloth with my lcd, it tells u 2 just clean with a little bit of water sprayed on it.

Can get special stuff from curry's i think.

I just use spit and my sleeve though.

Apparently, LCD's soak up water terrible, so anything more than the tiniest bit of water can soak in and leave a 'water mark', want to buy a proper cleaning wipes pack really, no danger then

next time it's dirty the best thing you can possibly do is run a bath and get in it with the TV switched on and plugged in... works wonders
