Cleaning PH1 172 Steering Wheel???

Have just brought a second hand wheel that is in much better condition than mine I am aware that they are very delicate!! What is the best thing to use to clean\treat the wheel as it smells slightly musty and I want it to last as long as possible?

i used normal dash wipes on my wheel,worked a treat

Ph 172 wheel is suede/alcantara though.

They only really recommend a damp cloth on it, you could use a weak mixture of AG Interior Shampoo and water
