Cleaning polished parts FAIL

Car  "Navy" N17 TWO
When I got my engine parts polished up a while back they quckly became all grubby looking with condensation marks & whatever the engine sucks in lol.

I tried to clean it up with some Autosol & a really fine wire wool then buff it up with a MF cloth, looked ok I thought.

If you took the engine cover off first thing you would notice is
FAIL :o

The difference between what was polished by Impact Metal and my poor attempt at maintaining it is awful

Any tips to bring it back up to it's former glory? :)

Cheers

Hard work trev, something that you just have to keep on top of, sadly!

Just give it some elbow grease with some autosol on a polishing cloth/pad.

Back to the machine polishers! You'll never get it looking good again...I tried on mine. Just looked dull and tanished.

bin the engine cover... they're useless anyway ;)

Then back to Impact Metal and all the polished bits will have the same finish :D
