Cleaning Suede

one of my new seats has a slight (and i mean slight) whiteish mark to it... i had a go with wiping it with a clean damp MF cloth but its still there! do i leave it or

buy something like

tesco foaming upholstery cleaner for cars is awesome, spray a load on let it foam up srub a bit and your seats will be like new, its only about a quid fifty, good for cleaning carpets too

its not really so much muck as more like a water mark/very very slight discolour?! :S dont know what to do dont want to make it worse at all!!!!!!!

I just tried it the other day as i got in the car after a ride with mud all over my arse, thend rove 300 miles so it was pretty ground in, sprayed this all over it and scrubbed off and the seats look like new, doesnt do any damage, there was also a mark from the previous owner that looked like milkshake or something and thats gone completely, should have done this earlier, so have now done the door cards and the other seats

people say you shouldn't use anything on sude, but a water damaged 172 i was repairing i covered the seats in AG Shampoo and jetwashed the seats all over, followed by a going over with George (Numatic wetvac) and they came up like new. So its safe to say its pretty durable. Light spraying of AG Shampoo and a MF Cloth in a bowl of warm water to wipe the residue off.

Use a mix or Autoglym Interior Shampoo and water on a Microfiber Cloth and use as little as possible to remove the stain. The Alcantara website says to use nothing but a dry or if you have to a damp cloth.
