cleaning the seats



  clio mk2 p1 1.4 16v
hi, ive got standard steats front and back and just wondering how i would go about cleaning the seats? as when i was cleaning the boot out i found that although the back seats were sticky... they look clean and only the tops where the head rests go are sticky... i dont no if its from sunlight or from peopls hair lol but i just want to clean it as best possible... would soapy water work or any other suggestions i want to doi it 2day

You could try Autoglym Interior Shampoo Complete and perhaps the Stain & Scuff Removal Kit if you think you really need it, depends how bad your seats really are, and your budget of course.

I don't think soapy water will do a very good job to be honest, but I'm sure Rich will be along in a moment or two with some alternative suggestions.

cheers m8, i didnt try soapy water just incase it damages the interior, ill get interior shampoo... dnt need stain and scuff the seats are imaculate... its just on the tops.... for example some biddy has had hair spray on and sat in the back loads of times lol... only got the car recently, i dont no what it is it could of been dogs with paws on the back its just tacky

You can hire them iirc from places like Morrisons or just simply buy one. Not sure how much they are though as I borrowed one from my parents :D
