BMW M4; S1000 RR
Having never traded a car in before, I am just wondering whether it's worth my time and effort to put the car back to a "spotless" condition.
So far on my list to do:
Get the car dent free (it's got a few few car door openings in either side due to blind cnuts at supermarkets and anywhere else you can park 2 cars next to each other).
Get a new windscreen (I've had this one repaired a couple of times and you can see where the cracks were, there's now quite a big chip in it now though)
Respray the bonnet (Usual, covered in chips)
Refurb and new tyres on the OE alloys (One of them is pretty bad from a blowout when I first got the car)
OE Headunit (sent mine off to Renault, forgot it wasn't in warranty, and wouldn't pay £75 when they got it back).
New bumper (Someone has scraped down the OS corner which has made pretty deep scratches on the inserts and part of the actual bumper.
Anyway, when this is all done I would expect to list the car for £4500, but with the cost of doing all of that, I can't help but wonder whether the car is getting to the point where it's not worth it.
