Clear indicators side repeater repeaters

They will be available within the next 3-4 weeks. Order from ACEparts.com or call 01795 421999.

They will also be available under the SAVAGE brand in many shops although this will be a little longer (6-10 weeks)

Thanks

I agree that this is becoming quite repetative but I will just mention that the

Clio LED indicators will look something like this:

The Lens will match perfectly the FRONT indicator (of late cars)

Fitment is of the direct replacement type. Made in UK.

I bought some of these last week from Aceparts and had them shipped to Australia. This guy says above and in his previous post on this thread that they are a direct replacement and fit perfectly in late model clios. I have a 2002 Clio 172 and they dont come close to fitting! They are about 1.5cm too long and dont even fit in the shallow recess where the stock repeaters go. Even if I was to try and stick them over the top and not use the proper groove where they should go they still wont properly cover it and get a decent seal. Ive sent numerous emails to the contact from their website with no reply. Ive pmed this guy here with no reply. Are these guys dodgy? They certainly make it impossible to contact them and arent telling the truth when it comes to their product. Now the only possible explaination would be that the UK delivered cars have a different shapped repeaters to the Aussie delivered cars but Im 99.9999% sure that isnt the case. They look exactly the same and as they fit that recess perfectly Im sure they dont go changing that panel on the cars just for Australia.

  not a clio anymore

^^^^
I would agree about not direct replacement> I have a set (not the LED ones)and unless I did fit them the wrongway around (which I dont think), they did not fit well and when I attempted to remove it I broke it.

if u want them but aint in a massive hurry i have just replaced mine on my clio which look like the above and u can have em for a tenner or something :)

Most aftermarket Clio stuff comes from the UK and either cant be delivered to Australia or delivery is, in my opinion, too expensive.

As for fitting. These led ones only fit one way. You cant do it wrong. You cant do it at all actually.. full stop. They cannot be put on a 172 because they are longer than the shallow groove they are supposed to go in but to thin to cover it entirely which leaves a gap at the top or bottom.

BTW they are supposed to be stuck on with 3m adhesive stuff.

I just spoke to ACEparts via email and found out they arent supposed to fit the Clio. A misscommunication somewhere along the line coz it didnt read that way to me. Anyways he was very pleasant and offered to send me a replacement set that will fit, free of cost.

Im happy now :)
