Climate control wont turn off!

Hi All,

after a journey down to southampton on friday my climate control now has a mind of its own!

The temp side of things seem to work + a/c etc, however turning the power up and down does nothing ( its just on constantly ). When i then go to turn it off it then goes sounds like its blowing out at maximum power?

so i have no way of turning this off!!?

Does any one no what this could be? also how to fix / replace it!

Any one? please, i now have even more of a problem, it only blows out hot air!! Each journey i make, i get out of my car feeling like i have the flu!!!

im guessing you mean when you set it to auto the air blows hot slow then it starts blowing faster despite you have it set for cooler.

If its that the cogs more then likely broke on the heat selector behind the dash, cheap fix is a sprung clip. Renault fix is whole new unit . See
