Ive had the car for over a year and still not really mastered the Auto function on the CC.

Anyone use it?

Everytime i turn it on it blasts air out using up all my bhp and petrol lol

I was hoping it would just make little corrections to the temp/ airflow to to maintain a certain tempreture but all it does is seem to blast air out full wack.

Anyone got any tips?

Well what the auto function does is it'll reach the set temp as fast a possible and maintain it automatically aujusting the vents and fan speed. With the auto setting off and just setting your own fan speed and vents it'll get to the set temp but only by using the vents and speed you've set.
I don't use it as a rule but it does work very well, will put the fan on full blast then slow down as the temp rises/falls toward the set one.

I see... thats why its blast out so quick then. Does it calm down to say, 1 bar after a while? Which is where i usually have it.

Yeh, it'll scale down to about 1/2 bars generally, will speed up again if the temp drops then slow down and so on.

Thanks for that.... might give it a go next time as i always seem to be altering the temp myself.

Takes a while to settle down as others have said. I just leave mine on Auto all the time and let it do whatever.

When frosty in the morning mine stays low then slowly goes on fast and when the car gets warm it slows down again.

Oh i just pres the auto button, unless the windows are steamed up then i press the screen button.
