Clio 02 plate not starting

Hi my girlfriend has a clio on an 02 plate and lately she has has trouble with it starting, we thought it was to do with damp, but it has done it the last 2 days when it has been sunny and warm.
Now the car turns over nice a quick and all the lights on the dash come on fine so i dont think it is the battery.
Has anyone got any solutions to what it may be?
It only happens every know and then so you can guarentee if i take it a garage it wont happen for them.

had similar problems with mine, normally the first time a tried to start it in the day, turned out a had a faulty battery (only 61% start capacity). Replaced the battery and so far its been fine

Sorry Read it wrong thought it was starting only sometimes.

as a TDC Sensor can cause an Intermittent Fault
