have took my panel filter off and stuck a pair of tights over it as i did with my old corsa just wondering will this affect performance as it makes it sound awesomee!

it works well sounds killerr haha better than my mates induction and cant notice any performance change if anything its better

Do excuse me, I was being sarcastic, put a bloody air filter on, tights are worse then that ripspeed sh*te.

what does oryt mean?

tights are cheaper than an air filter however renault decided that for the sake of it they would use an air filter when it has no advantage over tights.

much the same story with them using oil in the engine, i mean water does the same job, its thinner to so you will get more bhp!!

Lol here mate for the adaptor

But to be honest you'll loose power with this and an air filter = fact. Cone filter next to hot engine means you'll get heat soak, IMO just get something like this, it won't make a blind bit of difference but will be better for your engine

If you want a nice sound for your car, save up and go for an exhaust system mate.

oryt think am going to leave the standard filter on and get an exhaust sytem as the adapter is 40 quid anyway just dont want it to sound to loud .
nice one for that mate.

That's ok fella. K tec also do a "stealth" exhaust system (takes abit of work to make it stealth apparently) for £175 I think, u can get a loud or quiet one. I think the quiet one doesn't sound much diff from standard. Best thing to do mate is have a browse on YouTube, get a good idea how they sound
