Clio 1.4 RT - Tuning?

Hi im new here and have been offered the above car for a bargain price, its not in bad condition, however i was just wondering what availability is for tuning these cars ie. induction kits/manifolds/exhaust systems/cams and also styling them ie. bodykits/lights/lowering springs

theres lots of parts available not much point spending bags of money on the engine but plently of 16v/williams parts and alloys around to make it look smart

nice little motor - the sort of car you can sell on in two years at no loss if kept looking good.

BUT

keep it standard & as mint as you can get it, save your dosh and move on in two years!

you could EASILY blow 2 or 3K on mods and get NONE of it back!


Wouldn't 2 years extra no claims and 3K towards a 172 be better?

^ £25 a week saved in an ISA would give you nearly 3K in 2 years!

Yer but i cant have my friends beating me? It needs a new exhaust so i thought i may as well get a performance one, plus an induction kit wudnt cost an arm and a leg?

Why not just do the garenteed thing and get the faster car?

i mite do that ^^^^^^^actually i will do that!!!
i have also been told not 2 spend loads modding my 1.4rt so mine is more of a restoration job now gettin rid of all the little bugs (not actual insects btw lol) out of the car.
paid £300 for the car and after iv finished sorting it out fink itll fetch a lil more wen i sell it.
