Clio 1.5 Dci Sensor Keeps Popping Out *See Photo* HELP

  2004 Clio 1.5 Dci 65
Hi guys, this is my first post
Need some help and advice on what this sensor is at the back of the engine bay( see below), i took the airbox off to get a better look.
The problem is that it keeps popping out of its hole when i accelerate, and when this happens you hear a hissing noise, and from then there is a constant air whooshing noise within the cabin on acceleration.
When this happens it does feel like the car loses power, and therefore accelerates slower.

I think that the housing for the sensor is broken/ snapped, as it can be pushed in and out very easily, but i have no idea what sensor it is etc. ( it is also quite oily around the plug don't know whether that helps)

Thanks in advance for any advice.
