Has anyone removed the torsion bars and replaced the shocks with coilovers?

too much work for not enough gain imo

not in any road going situation anyway

Well I have some cheap coilovers lined up, was just wondering if the shock mounts were strong enough to work as suspension mounts too.

As for work, you just need a slide hammer and you can tear those bars right out... unless that's the only pivot point.... in that case this is a terrible idea
