clio 16v Clutch problem

I have recnently put my enigne back into my clio and connected the clutch cable and seem to be having a problem with the clutch completly disengaging the gearbox.

I have taken the green plastic pedal stop out of the clutch pedal in the car and this seems to of allowed the clutch cable adjuster tighten the cable and improved the problem, but its still not right?

The clutch in the car has only done about 2000 miles from new.

Any ideas how to fix this??

I bet you used a copycat clutch cable if so then thats your porblem aftermarkets are are useless get a proepr Renault and your probelmw ill go.
Check the adjuster is working ok though as the teeth can wear causing them to slip.

its the original cable from renault. adjuster teeth are fine.
