Hi again folks,

Further to previous post, I may well rebuild my JB3 gearbox; the post below indicates a cheap kit but is anything else required ?? Also, possible problems to watch out for ??

put the roll pins in the correct way round.dont forget to refit all the selector ball,rods and springs that sit in the casing.fit a complete synchro kit.be careful when removing the 5th gear cover as you can snap the 5th gear plastic oil feed.replace all the shaft circlips(although some of the boxes use shims that you need a press to strip down the shafts and a you have to heat up the shims to refit them).remove the reverse light switch so you can move the selector to be able to lift off the casing.
