Clio 16V vs Impreza 2.0

  Revels Mum & Sister

After droping thr missus off last nite. Went for a little blat round town. Come to the traffic lights (we have 3 sets in a row with a decent distance between each). A young lad in his Scooby Impreza 2.0 pulls up. Now before I get slated. It WASNT a turbo only a sport. No bonnet vents etc.

We both planted it. I wasted him very convincinly. Anyone else raced these. Know they wouldnt be that fast. But how slow are they? What sort of power. Raced a mates Integra the other day got wasted hehe Surprise surprise ;)

Well theyre pretty heavy as they all have 4WD and the flat four 2.0 pumps out about 140bhp. Id say that with about 3-400kgs less than him and the same power you bloody well should have beaten him!

Clio 16V vs Fiesta 1.0

How much have these got. I toasted one just................

back last year when i had a clio 16v i absolutely annihalated a 2.0 non turbo impreza on my first day of ownership.

even the performance roof rack he had fitted didnt help him overcome the valver

raced one of these at the thursday night races. it was the first thing i came up against that night and i didnt notice it was a non turbo. i left it for dead and was VERY happy til someone told me it was N/A:oops:

I know that one of the guys whos a bit of a scooby guru on scoobynet can beat scoob turbos with a 2.0 though very twisty bumpy roads. On the straight they are very slow.
