Clio 172/182 gearbox ideas/problems

Is it ever heard of having an Audi box on a Clio an proven to work on the Clio block I don't see it happening

It's been done yes. Scoff sells a conversion kit

Is this something I should look a for reliable track days or is it big power cars?
If my box goes bang I'd rather upgrade than put the same in again.

It's a lot of money to have it fitted, I think you could roughly afford about 4 gearbox rebuilds in the cost of the 02M box fitted.

I wouldn't worry unless going above 300bhp
