PLEASE HELP

WAS OUT IN CAR CUPLE DAYS AGO PARKED UP TURNED OFF CAME BACK WENT TO START AND NOTHING JUST CLICK CLICK CLICK NOISE
I JUMPED OFF GOT CAR HOME CHANGED BATTERY STILL NO JOY SO CHANGED STARTER MOTOR STILL SAME NOW THINKING BAD EARTH

check the large solder joint (fused connection) on the battery positive lead that goes round to the started......

I had the same problem, it clicks as it throws the gear out on the starter but wont turn it over...

sorted it was negative battery lead earth
