Clio 172 Cup suspension

  Clio 200 Cup
I know this topic has been covered loads - Ive read almost all of the related threads but Im really confused!

A spring has broken on the front drivers side of my car. Renault want £160 for two front springs (Id replace both) so this is obviously putting me firmly in aftermarket territory.

The car has done 34k miles.

Im happy to pay the money and replace all four shocks and springs for an aftermarket setup.

What is my best bet? I do not want to change the ride height by much.

1) Aftermarket Springs and standard (existing) dampers?
2) Aftermarket shocks and springs
3) Coilovers
4) Stick with standard bits

I only really use the car on the road.

Any suggestions? taking into account cost. (Coilovers might be a no-brainer if money were no object)

I can spend £400 max and I'll be doing the fitting myself.

Thanks :approve:

IMO for £400 replace the stock stuff with stock. That price is shocking though.

Thanks for the advice.

Ive put a shout out in the Wanted sectio for a pair of standard front springs. If that fails then I'll probably go with the Prolines.

Cheers
