This is my first post on here, I hope it is in the right section. Anyways I have done a bit of searching and cannot find an answer to my question..
From some searching it appears that adding a decat pipe to a 172 cup will trigger the EML on the dash, due to upsetting the second lambda sensor?
My question is will this put the car in "limp home mode" on a 172? will it affect Power/MPG etc?? Can it be rectified by simply adding one of the ebay spacers??
This is related to a car im considering buying so I cant simply check the power or MPG. (I'm planning on it being a track car so MOT emissions not a problem)
One other question (I know this bit is in the wrong section!!), the car has been slightly lowered (apex springs, any good??). Do clios respond well to this or am I better off putting standard cup springs back on??
