I'm looking at a 172 and it's just had a new clutch but is grinding when selecting 2nd gear. Wanted people opinions if I should steer clear or what the worst case scenario is
Could be the syncro in the box then, but hold on see if anyone else has any ideas.
You want to consider the condition of the rest of the car as well, for example it's a massive plus if the car has had a recent and documented cambelt done, as that requires specialist tools to do.
