Clio 172 in white - to respray or not?

I need your help about respraying my car. It is standard 172 ph II, curently pearl black.
I will respray it in next 2 weeks, but I cannot decide should I go to pearl black again or I should make general change and go for pearl white.

I saw some pictures of white 172 PH I replica and I love it, it really looks great in that colour. But I don`t know how will 172 PH II look like in white.

Does anyone has some pictures of phII in white?
And if you have any other suggestions feel free to write them

I wouldn't spray a black car white it'll be a nightmare to do plus stone chips will be hideous

I deliberatly bought a silver one to paint

Yes, I know that painting black car to white is nightmare and stonechips are big problem, but I have really good car sparying company that will do that(I work a lot with them and every project they did till now was perfect so I trust them that this will also be perfect job from their side)

If you are worried about stone chips on white over black then a bare metal respray would be the best thing to do on the bonnet with a new front bumper and wings and one of those plastic film guards on the bodywork ahead of the rear wheels.

Dubai182 has his in the bodyshop at the moment. He has gone for Ford Championship White. His is a 182 with both cup packs though.

Curently I am somewhere betwen Renault white and that from Alfa 147 GTA, that one looks great IMHO.

I've gone for Vauxhall Casablanca white as its plain without a hint of blue or yellow or cream that alot of the whites have in them

Car is going to workshop tommorow, and I still didn`t decide which white to use

I think that I will do that at the place tommorow, I just hope that I will be satisfied with result, if not I will respray it back to black

If you get coiles. 15in white speedlines. roll cage. then sprayed it white then thats a different story.

i wouldnt bother myelf. just spray it black.

the usual people on here will say spray it white as it looks good but they would NEVER do it to their own cars.

and i wouldnt even consider it unless your having a bare metal respray as the stone chips will be hideous

car is at workshop, respray colour will be white

and stone chips will not be problem, as car will be resprayed twice

dont matter how many times you spray over the black (unless you go over it maybe 20 times), stone chips will still be black or go down to primer/e-coat and have a black ring around them

only way around it is a bare metal respray.
