Clio 172 issue

Hi guys, I have litle problem wiv my clio, I don't know if anyone has been through this.. but my central locking switch is not working.. I have checked the fuse but still not working.. before me buying another mechanism can anybody advise me what else can I check??

i know it sounds daft but have you pulled the panel out with the switch in and made sure its pluged in properly?
