Clio 172 mk2 2003..problem (trip mileage, Mpg and average speed etc)

Hi all, just wondered why my car resets the trip mileage, MPG and average speed all by itself if i dont drive it for a few hours...... anyone have any ideas?

Your battery is on its way out.
Happened to my 02 172, battery seemed fine bit trip kept resetting.
New battery and problem gone...

What he said. ^^^^ also if I did a few short journeys, mine would struggle to start unless I turned the key and waited a while before starting the car. Batterysuperstore I got mine from on net. Free next day delivery.
