Clio 172 ph 1 tickover problems when cold

Just got my car back after cam belt snapped(Clio 172 ph1.) Fully repaired(new valves) it drives fine but wont tickover until warm, it doesn't even try to tickover. Anyone got any ideas, sensors etc? Cheers in advance.

- wrong cam timing
- one or more leaking valves
- hydr tappets
- wrong IACV connection
or a combination of the above.

Why would it be when cold, and not when the engine warms up though?

Take it back to whoever done the work and get them to sort it mate.

Local garage did it, i've only had it back for a day and I will take it back to them. I was just seeing if it could be a sensor or something simple first.
