Clio 172 PH1 exhaust cat back advice

  clio 172 mk 1
Hi all and a happy new year.
My backbox fell off the other day, which was annoying. I have decided as the standard exhaust will cost 150 ish just for a back box then it is time to get one stainless that actually lasts. I like the standard fuel economy and I dont mind a little more volume but really I would rather have none than lots. I also would happily have power gain if possible. I also prefer the stealth look as I think the PH1 looks better without an exhaust hanging out and I dont want to put up my insurance, but a 3" pipe would also be ok, but nothing stupid.
I have a number of choices.

Yozzasport -£399
K-tec recessed/stelth/172 stainless. -£350 ish
Blue flame?
prospeed £300 ish

These are the others that I have pretty much rejected for different reasons.
powerflow £350 from ipswich fitted
Magnex
janspeed
scorpian
Mongoose
Janspeed

On here everyone rates prospeed, but im not sure because they arent designed for the car specifically therefore have no garauntees of power delivery, resonance etc. But if anyone knows better do tell. Same with powerflow

Yozzasport- How high do you have to jack the car to fit your exhaust, i believe it uses standard mounts, and lots of tracks have a 93db rating now does that mean i could not track day with your exhaust. How loud is it basically...

K-tec seem really appealing, and they use standard mounts. But they dont say any gains on there MK 2 stealth exhaust. Also do these mk2 exhausts fit any better as they have been known to fit badly on here. Will i be able to just slap it on or will it need modding, because i really dont want to have to do that.

Anyway thats all
Thanks

IMO - use the dealer thats closest to you, so if anything goes wrong they are close by for help.

you will be very lucky to see gains with just an exhaust.

Pro-Speed and YozzaSport are custom made for the car, K-Tec arent.

  Whichever has fuel
ProSpeed 100%.

I've seen 4/5 of their systems now, from skylines to 172's and the fit and finish are second to none.

I have a Longlife exhaust and a janspeed De Cat. While its fine now, It was s**t when i first had it, resonating, blowing, hanging too low etc. Luckily in the end my mate at ATS sorted it for me, but steer clear of longlife lol!

Custom made means that the exhasut is welded and fitted to the car on site at manufacture.

This does involve having to leave your car at the garage for a few hours when this is done. But the wait is worth it.

K-tec is an off the shelf kit that can be fitted yourself at home, if your up to do this. or fitted buy at there site or may be a local garage.

I'd have thought prospeed and powerflow would have been made the same kinda way, they have various generic silencers and boxes and then make the pipework to connect it all up when the car is there?

I had a powerflow cat back for £200 and it's been great.

YAY, gonna take it to powerflow bury, they want 225ish for a stealth system, much cheaper than topgear and ipswich. Ron from powerflow said they would be best and he was sure right, will see how the fit goes!

i had this problem of exhaust fallin off and i went to blueflame but it is local to me. custom fit jobbie. made a diff to the responsiveness of car - especially on motorway, but its a bit loud.
