Clio 172 Project

Car  2003 Clio 172
Hello

New to this forum, as just purchased a 2003 172 completely standard 31,000 miles on clock interior mint body work in good condition.
Gave £1900 for it

Looking for ideas on modifications for brakes and springs at moment then making my way into the engine.

Braided hoses, brembo discs, ds2500/3000, some nice fluid. More than enough braking power.

Springs go apex or cooksport if you want a noticable drop.

Ps nice find with only 31k !!

Yeah not a bad find at all...

Yeah looking to get cooksport if am honest..go about 40mm then put some speedlines on.

Free air con regae for 35mins! Through snap on for a demo! Just in time for summer nice and cold:

Braided hoses
Rear strut brace
Rear badge
Rear number plate light
182 manifold
Centre console display
 
Cancel the rear strutbrace. Its for show really. Will do feck all.
Save money and put it toward brakes.
 
Update:

Yesterday I gave the car a oil and filter change..nicely flushed out the system
Also cleaned all the plastic trims to make them black again

Today I changed the air filter, fitted a green panel filter:

Also replaced the rear number plate light housing and changed the bulb for a LED:

Been away for a while..

Matt black manifold (need to collect)
Apex lowering springs

Since last update I have:

polished headlights managed to get most of the haze off
Fitted OMP rear struts brace

Nice nice! Not a fan of pressed plates, think they're a bit tacky now. Has the rear had a respray at one point?

Jealous of the boot net :(

Why are the boot nets rare? Your the third person to mention it...

Not had a re-spray as far as I know off why?

So decided to paint my engine cover, matched the colour of the car
Not sure if to paint oil cap cover, or leave it..
