Clio 172 questions

Not long now had the 172.
I have a few quires about the idle of the car.
Ive done some searching on here but want to check.

Idles 950rpm when warm and limit is 7100/7200.

Sounds super charged - engine whine

You'd know if it was supercharged. A standard Clio isn't capable of devastating in gear times. Nail it in 3rd from 30-70mph. EVO timed the 182 at just under 9. So a little bit more for a 172 maybe. Idle and rev limit sound the same as my 172 cup which is nowt special in gear but goes well enough for me if I keep it singing.

It's been mapped then. OPs & the rest of the forum's isn't broken

RS Tuner, generic & custom maps all regularly increase the max engine speed.
