clio 172 replace starter motor

Can anyone advise me how to change the starter motor from the top of engine pictures would be great help?

Possible without removing exhaust manifold, but it's fiddly.

Airbox out. Battery out, upper inlet manifold off. Sm heatshield off.

13mm copper nut holds the loom to the SM. Also a tiny spade connector.

3x 13mm bolts at far side of the gearbox hold the sm on.

Should wiggle out.

Trickiest bit is getting the heatshield back on tbh.

if you take the wheel off ,jack it up.. may help to put shield back on.(make sure car is secure)
