clio 172 traction control

On a 53 plate clio sport 172, can you turn the traction control on and off or is it on constantly?

The switch to the right of the sterring wheel, iirc should switch it off, the ESP switch

It has traction control? Mine spins the wheels in 2nd at 60mph :-\ Will have a look for this button

I don't think all of them had it (early ones don't) I might be wrong though.

Think only the later ones had it , 03 plate onwards. Mine does.

My dads Nov 2002 (52) one has it. I don't think 02 reg ones or earlier do.

Mine hasn't 02 plate.

Do they have cruise control or was that an extra?

According to Renaultsport website it was standard from July 2002

I've just looked and I've got the switches right of the steering wheel, I thought they were for the radio? LOL

oh that explains it, mine is an early 02 model so probably no TC. Never mind, just need better tyres

The ones on the right stalk are for the radio.

Yeah I thought as much, it hasn't got the standard radio you see so they don't work LOL

don't think it's traction control. ESP which is different
