Clio 172

Hi All

Just bought a Clio 172 at the weekend as a bit of a fun car...It is on a 52 plate and has zenons and esp....I think the esp is standard, but the zenons are not....

Anyone know what price the zenons were as an option when the car was new..?

IIRC the xenons were not a option, standard on MK2 172's.

As above all Ph2 172's came with Xenon lights as standard apart from the Cups.

Yep the "zenonzzz" were standard on all ph2 172's apart from the cups which had standard headlights.

i think esp was introduced onto 172's around the 52 plates. some early ph2 172's like mine don't have it.

Xenon is the inert gas in the headlamps.

Zenon is a non-existent word used to refer to the above...

Ahh that be why my ph2 51 plate doesnt have it then, tbh im glad as it used to drive me crazy on my mk5 golf gti even when turned off it would still step in a little, good ridance i say.
Now when i go sideways and survive i know it was down to me not electrics lol
