Looking to buy a 172 Full fat after being in my mates.

I've found a good one with low miles on auto trader and am now considering it. Just want to know if anyone knows any info on the car and if it belonged to anyone on here? And also wat will the road tax be next year for the 172?

make sure its had its cambelt done. (its due at 5 years old / 72K miles) as its about £600 ish job

I'd get them thrown in with the deal. Cars only done 22k tho, but i know it's 5 years first. Anyone know the car?

Do a thorough check, seems very cheap from a stealer. Jokers had it up at 7.5k to start with!

I know, problem being aswell. I'm in Scotland, thats in Bristol and tbh i can't be bothered going from here to Bristol to see it, then come bak to go bak again if u know wat i mean. I could do it their and then but i have a plate transfer to get done

Meant to add, they've obviously had it sitting a while to knock the price down from 7495 to 6495 now 5500. My work does this tho on cars they have had in stock too long. I work for a major dealer (Arnold Clark)

if you do buy it. as its been sitting a long time and only do 22K anyway i think you will need to thrash the pants off it to losen it up as its prob going to be tight as a nun.

Well sadly i won't be able to drive it till July when my bans up, but my mate who owns one will have the pleasure of driving it home so he can thrash it lol
