Clio 172rs shocks.

  Clio 172 RS ph1
Hi, all the 4 shocks need to be replaced on the car, which shocks will give same results as the original? Monroe are good for the car?
I'm asking because the price of a set is too high in my country.
Thanks a lot. :)

Sachs will be same as the Renault shocks at the price.
And its hard to find Sachs shocks.
Only kyb , Monroe, are easy to find.

All non-Renault sourced shocks will not be a perfect replacement for the original. They should fit ok but unlikely to be exactly the same damping characteristic.

For example, I have tried the KYB "gas-adjust" (says it is an upgrade over OE) and it is much softer than the Renault (which are actually made by KYB !!!) original items. Althought mine is 182 cup, I still think the renault source items are preferable in all varients rather than resorting to the "OE" trade for these particular cars, as I have found with most french hot hatches, actually.

  A special one.
Can you not buy a set of shocks from Adam at Renault Wolverhampton on here and get them shipped over to you?
