Clio 182 04 problems with wheels rubbing

Car  Clio 182 2004
Can anyone help

I have a 2004 Clio 182.it has been lowered 60mm and had 17" wheels fitted when I bought it.the wheels fitted were 205/40/17's with et 38 and 4x100 pcd.these wheels didn't rub but the tyres were nakered so I bought some new wheels same pcd but et 42.these wheels rub badly on the front inner arches so I added 5pm spacers and they still rub.what can I do?do I need to go back to 16" alloys as it's so low or is there another solution?

Any helps much appreciated

Sell them and buy some 182 wheels ?

5mm isn't a lot .. try some 10mm's ? You might need new bolts though. Also might end up rubbing on the outer arch instead :S

Clio + 17s = bad news most of the time. It will be tramlining like fek too I'm sure !
