Flol exactly this! Mine stuffed cloth in the tailpipe before.

It is a friendly garage !!tried all the obvious things but still reading 6.00 on emission test think can of petrol n match might do it !!!!

Lambda sensors on their last legs? Cat fucked?

My old 182 had sky high emissions, cat was buggered.
Ordered one from this site http://www.cats2u.co.uk and was here in 2 days.

Definitely lambda sensors, usually the pre-CAT sensor. I experienced the same high CO and HC and was fixed with new sensors. I replaced both the pre and post CAT sensors. At least replace these before the CAT, it's a lot cheaper!

Thanx for your input guys new lambda sensor pre cat ..flew mot happy but now cat refitted to miltek straight through no cat car down on power and very quiet but hey oh no mot no fun !!!!
